Hm. Maybe you could try to obtain a field from the database, like I do
now. However; I substitute marks (###NAME###) from my template;
page.10 {
marks.LANG= RECORDS
marks.LANG.tables = tt_content
marks.LANG.source = 82
}

I now use this (working! thanks!) setup:

page.10 {

marks.LANG= RECORDS
marks.LANG.tables = tt_content
marks.LANG.source = 82
}

#taalgedoe
config.linkVars = L

[globalVar = GP: L = 0]
config.language = nl
config.sys_language_uid = 0
config.locale_all = nl_NL
#templateonderdelen NL
page.10 {

marks.STLINKS= RECORDS
marks.STLINKS.tables = tt_content
marks.STLINKS.source = 60

marks.BOEKEN= RECORDS
marks.BOEKEN.tables = tt_content
marks.BOEKEN.source = 62

marks.HOME= RECORDS
marks.HOME.tables = tt_content
marks.HOME.source = 69

marks.CONTACT= RECORDS
marks.CONTACT.tables = tt_content
marks.CONTACT.source = 79
}

(it's basically the same workaround, I have to define the content
elements per language, however, I have them all ready on a page which is
hidden in the menu 'template parts'.).

Thanx!
