[TYPO3] OT: client wants to drop typo. What should I do?

Hey elmar,

In principle, you're right about that. However, without describing the whole
situation: this was different... and I didn't put it that way towards the
customer of course. But tailorwork does run into a financial limit.

With the older versions of the HTML Area (which I favour) things were not
that generic as you suggest, especially cross-browser. I upgraded with every
version, so I experienced that (without saying that I know the extension for
the full 100%). Since version 1.1.2 and up it works best and beside the
internal-link-images I think annoyances of the default install are gone. I
think that when a client struggles with that RTE, he or she needs other
education first.
