This is *totally* irrelevant if you have set DIV.all=1
Using of id or class has only *logical* difference.
Using class you add *multiple* times and id just one -
like you use CSS for class and id attributes.
If you use id multiple times it is logical error,
but it has nothing to do with the functionality.

You simple has some other problem.
The plugin automaketemplate must be quite top before
it is needed. It is impossible to say,
what is wrong before you give more information.
