[TYPO3] direct mail cron setting

Hi,

I need to invoke the direct mail engine automatically.. .so I added the  
dmail  dmailerd.phpcron script to my cron.  But even if I run the 
dmailerd.phpcron script directly the mails are not sent .. I get no 
error message also.

Do I need to do any other configuration in direct_mail? Any hint/pointer 
on where & what I should look for will be very helpful. I have searched 
the list with no luck.
