[TYPO3] Usage of timtaw

Hi,
I've recently seem Timtaw in the best Newcomer category in the 2005 
awards and thought it was worth investigating. Having installed it I am 
struggling to know how to use it and quite where it fits in as a wiki. I 
read in another post that it seems to use a tt_news style editing model. 
With the extension I can see no specific plugin I need to  add or any 
new specific record types that I should be using. Can someone let me 
know where I'm going wrong
