Will try converting with TextPad.  In the mean time Franz, do you know if 
the following phpMyAdmin settings are okay?  

Add DROP DATABASE 
Add AUTO_INCREMENT value
Enclose table and field names with backquotes
SQL export compatibility: MYSQL40
Complete inserts
Extended inserts 
Use hexadecimal for binary fields
Export type: INSERT

My desktop comp uses version 5.x and 4.x at the server.
