[TYPO3] Naming the log file

Hi all,

Configuring the Typo3 logfile name requires something along the lines  
of:

config.stat_apache_logfile = typo3.log

Looking at class.tslib_fe.php it seems impossible to use markers that  
would make the name vary according to date, as is common in many  
software, something like:

config.stat_apache_logfile = typo3_%y%m%d.log

Would it then be possible to define the file name as a TEXT object  
(where such formatting as above is possible) and plug the resulting  
text into config.stat_apache_logfile as a filename? I can't figure  
out what the TS would be for such an operation (if possible at all).
