[TYPO3] SOAP installation [WAS Problem uploading to TER]

Thank you, I have only just resubscribed and searching for SOAP in the
archive revealed nothing, so I apologise to the community for asking the
question (again). Is there a good case for mentioning this in the typo3.org
documentation, as SOAP is not an out-of-the-box inclusion in most linux php
implementations?

I run Fedora Core 5 and have no idea how to reconfigure my PHP to include
SOAP. Any suggestions anyone?

Hello,

Funny, as I asked the same question to this list a few days ago, and found
the answer: basically you need to enable SOAP in your PHP if you run PHP5 on
your TYPO3 server. How to do that will vary based on the Linux distribution
you use. In my case, a Gentoo system simply required to recompile the
package by specifying to include soap.
