[TYPO3] Typo3 4.0 Default Login Form failure

System: Fedora Core 5, Apache2, php5, mysql5
Typo3 4.0

Page Users and login have been set up as they had been setup in QuickStart
3.8.1. After protected page is set up which be visible by groups. The
problems are:

. The protected page could not be viewed after user logon in. Instead, the
home page appeared.
. No logout button in my login page after user logon.
