[TYPO3] The index serach result page links is not functioning ptoperly

After i moved the typo3 site from a server which was running PHP Version
4.4.3 to a new server with PHP Version 5.0.4. The index serach result page
links is not functioning ptoperly. i am getting the serach result if i type
a keyword as i expected, but the problem is when i click on the "page 2" it
will takes me to the home page of the site.

had any one have this problem before?. or any idea why?.
