[TYPO3] probs with sr_feuser_register's javascript

it is sr_feuser_register Version 2.2.6. but i guess i'll just update to t3 v 4.0.1.

If you don't want to even touch the HTML-Template, you could've run into
compatibility issues if you're using the newest version (I don't know if the
requirements affect updateForm, but that might be the case):

"Extension Front End User Registration (extension key: sr_feuser_register)
requires TYPO3 4.0.0+.

Version 2.2.6 is the last version of this extension that will work with TYPO3
3.6.0-3.8.1."

However, in order to enable people to help you while using 3.8.0, the version
of your sr_feuser_register will be interesting (although I doubt that there's
still much enthusiasm in supporting obsolete versions... but you never know)
