[TYPO3] Hyper nav menu config

Hi there

I have installed the hypernav extension

I have the following page tree

Root
  |
  |-Page 1
	|-SubPage1
	|-SubPage2
  |-Page 2
  |-Page 3



What the menu shows is

root

Then when you hover over the root link it shows a drop down with page1,
page2 and page3, and their sub pages

What i would like the menu to show is

page1 - page2 - page3

Then show a drop down of the pages subsections

I have tried using the follwoing in a hope that this would work, but it
doesnt



plugin.tx_hypernav_pi1.special=directory

plugin.tx_hypernav_pi1.special.value=45

lib.mainmenu < plugin.tx_hypernav_pi1


Does anyone know of how i can do this, or for that matter, of any way i can
create a multi level menu. I have looked at the tsref (;-) for the tmenu
layers, but i cant find any configuration for this.

Im stumped
