[TYPO3] Help performance

Hi there

does anyone have any tips for performance

i have installed the quick fe and cache all extension,

but we still experience high server load at times, even though there are
only a few people on the site

We have typo setup on a vds basis.

does anyone have any advice or examples  for what spec servers to use

I have looked evrywhere for answers, and i have seen the recommended minimum
hardware levels, but i was after real world experiences
