[TYPO3] css problems

 I have just exported my site to a new installation, but i am now having
some
    strange occurrances
    When the pages are getting rendered, the css for extensions etc is being
placed into the html
    file, rather than creating a link to an external css file
    does anyone know of a cure for this affliction ;-0
