Hi ho!

Shouldn't be writting this at all. But i feel that the connection to the
bugtracker is kind of overkill.

Most of the gremlins I stumble on in Typo3 is not bugs - it small annoying
things evenly distributed among the extensions. The core works good enough
for me, but the extensions are a sad story.

There is really good ones that do there work very nice. But many lack
documentation, are narrowminded developed to solve the specific problem
for that site and not generall tools. A few extensions should be part of
the core package and be equally good as the rest of the core.

At the same time it's a strength that many similar extensions exists, but
without a quality control system I think it also damages Typo3.

The "feedback to Typo3 marketers"-thread didn't mentioned it but I think
that TER has to be updated very soon. When I can't even select which
development statuses of the extensions i want to view, there is a problem.

Clear rules what is needed to reach Alpha, Beta and stable is needed. No
extensions should reach Beta without templatehandling and documentation. A
new requierment should be correct HTML4.01/CSS2.1 usage.

Stable should be a level that a quality team gives a extensions.

But enough of my horrible english and ranting. I still like Typo3 and
thinks that all do a good job, everybody just has to give a little more
thought to the other users that is going to use the extension.
