------------------------------
" JP/Politikens Hus A/S has signed a contract with Norwegian software
provider Escenic to deliver the next generation web publishing solutions
for its three national newspapers Politiken, Ekstra Bladet and
Jyllands-Posten.
The media corporation JP/Politikens Hus is one of the leading publishing
groups in Denmark. Their newspapers print 160 million newspapers yearly,
and their newspaper websites have 130 million hits per month - 180,000
hits per hour.
Allan Salling, Project Director, JP/Politikens Hus A/S: "Our numerous
services need to run like clockwork. It was very important to our team
to find a web publishing solution that we can grow with in the future
and also has a proven track-record of serving some of the most demanding
customers in the industry."
------------------------------
My thoughts were, "This should be TYPO3" not that TYPO3 should have been
the software used (it should have of course... where is the national
loyalty here) but that this type of press release needs to go out every
time one of the consultancies finishes a decent size project. We need a
press release engine in the community!
