[Typo3] Meta tags

Hi,

When I insert keywords and description in the fields of my 'advanced' page, 
I cannot see the meta tags in the HTML source.

I though maybe I have to initialise the meta tags, so I tried to put the 
following TS code in my 'mainTemplate' :

page = PAGE
page.meta.language = fr
page.meta.description = test
page.meta.keywords = test

Unfortunately, these meta tags are not overloaded by the ones I insert in my 
'advanced page'.

How can I do ?  (I need some different meta tags per pages)
