[Typo3] templaVoila for a newbie ?

Is it really so much easier with TV?
Now I make my sites with making a html template with dreamweaver,
and then just implementing it in typo3 with subparts and stuff, which is 
actually quite easy
once you get a grip on it.
Maybe I should try TV?

Indeed,

I was the one that had problems with it but more with realUrl, TV and
multilanguage...
But I do have multilanguage working & TV
