[Typo3] Typo3 and MySQL innodb

Hi

Hope this is on-topic, I couldn't find another more relevant group...

Has anybody tried or no of using Typo3 with MySQL with the  INNODB engine?
One of our sys admins is asking as he see INNODB as a more viable solution
to our backup solution.

If this is definitely off-topic, please give a pointer of where to look,
i.e. if it doesn't affect Typo3 at all, I will have a look on a MySQL
group...
