[Typo3] Custom XML/Flash integration

I would like to use a flash header in my template and at the bottom of the
flash file is a row of menu buttons.  I need for these buttons to link to
pages dynamically based on the options in the page tree.  The ideal way is
for Typo3 to create an XML file that the flash file can read and setup the
buttons accordingly.  Is this possible?  And if so, how?
