[Typo3] Best way to configure my right navigation

Would that be an example of what you are talking about Tyler?

So basically when I want to add something in that right navigation I 
would have to go to the template TS and update the code there?  And when 
I want to edit something that is already there, I would go to the 
sysFolder or page and edit the content element.  Right?
