[Typo3] Modifying and multiplying the same ext, how to?

Hi list,

in a project i'm following i need to to multiply the same extension and to 
modify each instance relating to some fields are in.

I'll try to be more clear:
the extension is just a BE form that allows to insert db fields that are to 
be shown and searched later in the FE.
The fact is that i need to create at least 10 extensions because, even if 
the php code is almost the same, tables used are different. Actually, tables 
differs one from the other with 2-3 fields in some cases, in other cases 
with 10.

Because of the fields difference i cannot make instances of the same 
extension.

So the question is:
how do i duplicate my extension with the less effort?

Otherwise, how can i use the same ext referring it to different tables?
