[Typo3] OT: Good practice writing articles

I am interested in how you and your editors write (or "organize") an
article on a page.

Let's take a text article with multiple paragraphs and images on some
paragraphs. There are basically two ways one can enter this article in Typo:

1. Use one Content Element "Text", write your whole article text and
insert images on the appropriate place via the RTE... all in the same
Content Element.
Pros: You can basically copy&paste text from e.g. MS Word or Openoffice
documents; very quick solution
Cons: The resulting structure is not very clean(?)

2. For each paragraph you use an own "Text" Content Element. For
paragraphs with images, you choose the "Text with image" Content Element.
Pros: Clean solution
Cons: Somehow cumbersome; requires much discipline from editors.

What practice do you prefer and use? What are the pros and cons of each
of them?

Greetings,
Ro
