[Typo3] Styling in sp_directory

 Hi List,
I'm using the 'sp_directory' on a site but can't style the content.
The html output is always the same.
<style type="text/css">
		
	...
        .tx_spdirectory-pi1-small { font-size: 10px; }
	...
	</style>
No matter what way I try to change it, it remains the same.
I tried to even hard code it into the sp_directory template but it gets
overwritten somewhere.
Can anyone tell me where I can change this.
