[Typo3] Metatags and template BUG

Hi, 

for some reason the EXT:METATAGS refues to work with the static template "BUG" but works fine as soon as i select another template like BUSINESS. Any Ideas what is wrong with the BUG template [except the name :-) ].  Any hints are wellcome. Thanks in advance
