[Typo3] Limit fe users' records using fe_adminLib.inc

Hello list,

Does anyone know if it's possible to restrict the _number_ of records
a front end user/group can create and edit using fe_adminLib.inc? I
would like to allow one group to create/edit > 1 record, and another
group to create/edit only 1 record, but even with the group allowed
multiple records, I would like to impose a ceiling so no joker creates
65000 records...
