[Typo3] Mininews and frames

Good evening, list.

I'm struggling with the extension mininews.
I work on a page with frames, and when I'm opening a mininews-link (like a frontend-teaser), it opens the whole page in that frame. I just want it to open the correct "type".

Is there any way to controll this? To add for example "&type=3" after the uid?

I've been searching in backend, and in the php-files, but I can't find a solution. 
Would be very thankful for som help.
