[TYPO3] Dowloading all extensions for localhost playground?

Hmm,
That works for the most part but I seem to lose the categorization which is absolutly necessary. I plan on writing some
reviews and comparisons so similar extensions need to be in a single directory or some searchable structure. I thought
to use the categorization of TER and go through and do one section at a time. An example would be if I did a search for
"editor" I would like to get a list of the "editor" extensions and then download them all into a directory and then
compare them at leisure.
The extension manager does work like I need. I only does a single package at a time where as I am looking for a checkbox
list and recursive download of the packages chosen from the lists.
There is no way of doing this via CVS or Subversion either?
