[Typo3] Translation of additional rootline fields

Hi,

I added a new field to both the pages and pages_language_overlay table:

tx_svoaddpageheader_pageheadline

The field shows up in the Alternative Page Language record but when I
receive the field value via
data  = levelfield : -1 , tx_svoaddpageheader_pageheadline , slide
the translation won`t be shown.

Can this be solved or will I have to add another field

tx_svoaddpageheader_pageheadline_en etc. for each language?
