[Typo3] Problem with content type text w/image

Hi

Im making a page to display all the employees of a company and each 
element consist of an image in the left column and text in the right 
column. My problem is that the text in the right column isnt vertical 
aligned depending on how much text is entered. I found out that the size 
of the left column isnt fixed. Is there a way to do that?
