[Typo3] Small second frame

hey all,

I run a large screen resolution (1600x1200) and the second from is kinda 
small,
the typo3 BE uses only 40% of my total screen, the rest is just white..

Where can I find the documentation to change these sizes?
Looking at: 
http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/doc_core_tsconfig/doesn't 
give me anything

where do I need to look for these settings? Maby the skinning API?
