[Typo3] automatic hiding of 3rd column if empty (templavoila)

Hello!

I'm creating a 3-column site with templavoila and everything is working fine except one thing:
I'd like the 3rd column to be hidden if it is empty. To achieve this I changed the mapping type of the column to outer. now the wraping div disappeared. But if I try to recreate the div via TS in the templavoila DataElement it reapperas always, even if the column is empty. I didn't find a way to check the column to be empty and conditionally adding the div-wrap because the REACORDS used in the templavoila TS:
<TypoScript>
	10= RECORDS
	10.source.current=1
	10.tables = tt_content
	10.wrap = <div id="right"> | </div>
</TypoScript>

seem not to have any properties that show if they are empty or not. I would appreciate any help!

Yours

Matthias
