[Typo3] When making new page, shoul dbe advanced *not* standard

Hello together,

I want to manipulate the default page type. Normally it is "standard" but I 
want it to be "Advanced".

I heared something about config.doctype = 2 but this does not work in my 
roottemplate (setup field).

Could anybody give me a hint?

Search on typo3.org did not reveal documents concerning my problem.

I think one of you guys has done that before...
