[Typo3] <P> and <BR> issue

Christian we are coming across the same issue here with the RTE and cant
seem to find a solution either. If I find something I will let you know,
but I wont get your hopes up.

Hi all,


I know this is often talked about, but I don't get it. I got a simple
page with CSS Styled content and a TS-Template.
My simple textfield is creating <p> tags for each new line. I want just
<br>-tags

I tried (in both constants and setup):

content {
    break.bodytext = <br>
    break.bodytext_parseFunc = <BR>
}


I also tried (in PageTSconfig):

->PROC.dontConvBRtoParagraph=1


None of this helps.
What am I doing wrong, please?
