[TYPO3-dev] Backend PDF thumbnails not working

Nice that this getting patched. Has cost me some nerves :-)

Much like the original poster, this patch has not solved my problems, but  
I tracked it down to a non-working graphicsmagick // ghostscript  
installation;

I can only recommend you debug the command handed to exec().

What I don't get is why an exec error is not logged somewhere.
