[TYPO3-dev] FAL recursive delete handled correctly?

Short follow-up:

In the backend reports I now get:

"Files flagged as missing 541 files
These files are flagged as missing. Restore the files and run the indexer to reset the missing flag."

I cannot restore the files, they are deleted. How do I get rid of the dead entries in the database?

I’m on 6.2.11

Best regards
Dennis

But when deleting a folder that contains files, the file records are not deleted from sys_file (but the files in the file system are deleted). Is this normal behavior? Are we relying here on some maintenance routine run later by scheduler that checks for non-existing files and cleans up the orphaned entries?
