[TYPO3-dev] Request from the Editorial Team - Supported Webserver

...and greetings from the very first Editorial Team Code Sprint in Mönchengladbach.
During the review of the content the question came up whether "nginx" is considered a supported Webserver on TYPO3 CMS.

So, is nginx considered a supported webserver so it can be added or even recommended under http://typo3.org/about/typo3-the-cms/system-requirements/ ?
