Hi Frank,

my advise is kind of similar as the other guys in the list here.

* use a shop offering or software for the ecommerce aspect
* index the products using solr in CMS so that you can find the products
* have a similar templates schema
* insert product details via json export as TYPO3 CMS content

there was a time when tt_products used to work well, but somehow
specialised software such as magento, oxid, shopify, spree or other deal
better with the requirements.

if you are going tiny tiny shops then you can even use
