[TYPO3-dev] experience with MySQL 5.5

Hi list,

does anybody have experience with TYPO3 and MySQL 5.5?
The LRZ (Leibniz-Rechenzentrum, Hosting Provider for munich universities)  
wants to upgrade to 5.5.

they talk about the necessity to set configuration:
carpeDiem: I think TYPO3 works with MySQL 5.5, but you need to adjust some  
settings. I just used $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['setDBinit'] = 'SET SESSION  
sql_mode=\'MYSQL40\';'.chr(10).'SET NAMES \'utf8\';'; in my localconf.php
