Too many cooks spoil the broth ;)
Chance for somebody being available for a longer time frame is bigger.
And I expect code quality do be higher, as people (hopefully) look at
the others' code, talk about it etc.

And I really think you can't motivate everybody to work on a particular
topic. I expect TYPO3 development to be driven by a personal itch also
in the future. I'd only like to get the best out of it.
