the search finds the projects but seems to show only the first ten
results in the autocomplete (for example when you search ter it doesn't
find ter_doc because all those regisTER, kickstarTER are found earlier,
but if you search ter_d you find them suddenly).

You can also use the full search (top right):

http://forge.typo3.org/search/index/extension-as_srfeuserregister_number?q=ter&scope=all&all_words=1&titles_only=1&projects=1&submit=Submit

then your ter extension is on page three...
