Hello,

Is anyone of you interested in working with git for doing local development?

I have setup an (still kind of experimental) gitsvn mirror of the
TYPO3v4 svn on github:

http://github.com/typo3/typo3v4core/
git clone git://github.com/typo3/typo3v4core.git

* cloning this is a lot faster than using "git svn clone"
* has all non-deleted branches and most recent tags in the proper "git way".
* missing tags/branches can easily be added on demand
* It gets updated via crontab every 15 minutes with the latest svn
commits
* It is *read-only*(!), not meant to be used to commit to

I plan to add another "typo3v4playground" repository where it should be
possible to share individual branches.

Maybe this is of use to anyone.
