If you don't like it, uninstall it.
If the ad is mentioned in the docs and you don't like this, do not
install it at all.

Use bottom-up instead of top-down processes:

If you think this extension is offensive, login to typo3.org and rate
the extension and write a comment. Please try to be as objective as
possible and don't be rude. No flaming in the comments, please. Keep in
mind that ads are not per se offensive, but sometimes a way to fund
development.
