[TYPO3-dev] news_feedit saves text wrong

Hello.
I'm using news_feedit (and mth_feedit) to let the FE users create 
tt_news. In general it works, but the content in the RTE seems to be 
saved in a wrong way.
The text "123" (without any formatting) becomes "<p>123</p>" 
in the database.
When I edit it again in FE it looks like this in the RTE: 
"<p>123</p>"
If I edit it in BE it looks like this in the RTE: "<p>123</p>"

I'm running TYPO3 4.2.6 with templavoila templates.
