i think it's too late to change the suffix :)
NC would be the one all know (NoCache)

For PHP_SCRIPT i always only used the INT, so i never touched the logic. 
Does it make sense in your eyes to have 3 variants? I will have a look 
to code too, looking for being loss too :)
