With jQuery getting attention from Nokia and Microsoft (after
Google,Intel and IBM), would you think it will get an impact on future
decision ?

REF: http://jquery.com/blog/2008/09/28/jquery-microsoft-nokia/

For those too fast on the gun, read this at least:

"Microsoft is looking to make jQuery part of their official development
platform. Their JavaScript offering today includes the ASP.NET Ajax
Framework and they’re looking to expand it with the use of jQuery. This
means that jQuery will be distributed with Visual Studio (which will
include jQuery intellisense, snippets, examples, and documentation)."

AND...

"Microsoft and Nokia aren’t looking to make any modifications to jQuery
(both in the form of code or licensing) - they simply wish to promote
its use as-is."

Without using expressions like "end of the JS framework war", do you
think it will have an impact on TYPO3's development/coding future ?
