I have a similar feature on the blueshoes framework. I personally 
dislike it because every coder has his own config file. After some 
development time you'll get - depending on the amount of developers and 
systems - three, four, five or even more config files.

Moreover you create more possibilities for errors. Just my opinion ;-)
