[TYPO3-dev] idea about shared cache_extensions db

just a simple idea that someone already talked about (or developed?)

wouldn't it be nice if there was a common db just for the cache_extensions table?
so if anybody has many typo3 installations on a server, he has not to keep updating that (huge and slow!) table for each istance...

EM would be configured with the data to this new db, and use it just for managing cache_extensions

what do you think?
