Hey Philipp,

yes, the tree is AJAX based. There are no limitations regarding the 
size, however I know of one incident when you open up a whole branch in 
the tree with more than 1000 pages that IE6 somehow blocks the call 
because it is loading the data in the browser. Apart from that, 
everything should work out.

We're currently investigating of sending the data through JSON to keep 
the code smaller, there should be a signicant improvement for this in 
the 4.3 release.
