[TYPO3-dev] Is there is a bug in cropscaling of gifbuilder?

I at least can confirm the bug with cropping gif-files - but it's not 
related to the gif-format as source but rather as output-format. If you 
enforce rendering the cropped images to become jpg (file.ext = jpg), 
then cropping also is working for gif as source image.
